It's been so HOT in Texas lately... I wonder when are we going to have a little relief from this scorching heat.. Every time I step out side I feel like I'm melting away not mention the allergens in the air that makes my allergies even worst. I would love to hung out at the pool today but I refused. We've been out and about almost the half of the day and the heat was unbearable. We went to church and the husband is on the hunt for a summer sandals. We went to DSW, Marshalls, JC Penny, Famous Foot ware and K&G but he didn't find the style that he's looking for. We finally ended the shoes hunting and went to Asian buffet for lunch and I had some sushi, noodles, teriyaki chicken and something else. I probably wont eat anything else today since my belly is poking out already and probably will not go back to the buffet in a couple of years.
Anyway, I had a chance to meet with my hip mama's yesterday at Cathy's house and it was nice to see them again. Too bad I was so busy chatting with them that I didn't even take a group picture. I'm looking forward to see most of them again on Saturday at my son's birthday party I hope that I can take some pictures then.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!!!
Just as I thought that I’m well ahead to start my morning with a little extra time to spare and no need to rush. The little man was dressed and he asked me which door we are exiting. I said honey we are going through the garage door. He went a head and opened the door. I grabbed my purse, lunch bag cell phone and sun glasses and went on my merry way. I locked the door and head on to the car until I realized that I left my keys on the counter. I said to my self “this is not happening to me” I looked inside my purse turned it inside out but there is no keys. I tried to yank the door knob knowing that it will not help at all but I did it anyway. The little man can tell that I’m on panic mode and he said “mommy it will be okay” I stopped and think. Think. Think. I called the husband who is out of town thinking that maybe he have some spare keys somewhere in the garage but there isn’t any. I walked one the front door thinking that maybe the door is unlocked but knowing me that is not possible. I checked the windows see if I can find one that is not secured all but I failed. Front windows are securely locked. I head on to the back yard on my high heels shoes on the wet grass balancing every step with the little man behind me and the husband on the phone. I tried the back door and guess what it’s locked too. But then I thought about the window by the sink that I open every now and then. I just hoped and prayed that it’s not locked. I took the screen off and pushed the window up and thank goodness it was not locked. I felt relief I opened it all the way and pulled the wooden blinds and gave the little man instruction on what to do. I lift him up till he got in the house and he opened the back door for me. By this time it is 7:45 and I know for the fact that I will be late for work. Never the less I will be late or not make it to work at all with out my set of keys . I told my son that he was my HERO for today. I never been locked out of my own house ever before and I’m hoping that this will be the last.
That’s how I started my day and I will try to do my best to turn it around and be positive about it.

Happy Birthday...
My Little man is 6 years old today... It feels like it was just yesterday when I had him in my arms so sweet, tender and innocent. I can't imagine that he grow so fast.Today, we gave him the option of being the "Boss" of the day within the limit of course and that will take effect as soon as we pick him up from the summer camp. He get to choose where to eat and what to do after dinner. Since I have to be at work today so as the husband, I decided to bring some cupcakes for the him and the kids in the camp so he can celebrate and sing Happy Birthday for him. He was surprised to see me at lunch with the cupcakes.
I will add more photos later and update. For the mean time have a great 4th of July and be safe.

Getting Back to Normal....
We made it back home Saturday afternoon and the Texas heat greeted us as we made our way to the parking lot the heat was unbearable that I felt my head pounding. That reminds me how great the weather was in NY while we were there. Welcome back to Texas as the little man said.
The husband was miserable without us at home for 1 week. He couldn't stand the emptiness, quietness of our home. In other words... He MISSES us so bad that he almost cry when he saw us at the airport. That right there tells me that my husband is a dedicated and a loving family man. I told him that I will never take a week vacation without him ever. He would have been okay if his trip to NH was not cancelled.
The little man is back to summer camp and I'm back to work. I'm still playing catch up at work and at home and I'm still tired from my trip. But I have to get moving and take care of business... I have doctor and dental appointment taken care of today for me and the little man. At least I got that out of the way.
I can keep on going on and on but I have to get outta here.... Post more photos as my schedule permits.

After the boat ride and sight seeing along the Canadian and US river we had a dinner at the Captain's Landing. A restaurant that floats on the water. The food was alright and we were sitted at the valcony and watch the sun go down. That conclude our 3rd dayin New York.
